Dalaroo Metals Ltd (ASX:DAL) has expanded the strike extent of its Gold Ridge prospect in Côte d'Ivoire to about seven kilometres and identified three large-scale priority drill target clusters.
Recent geochemical work defined a continuous gold-in-soil anomaly extending over 7km, up from the 4.3km corridor announced earlier this month.
The northern Mag Prospect represents one of the highest-priority targets, defined by a 1.5km-long 100ppb gold contour anomaly supported by peak soil results of 23.26g/t Au, 3.25g/t Au, 2.54g/t Au, 2.09g/t Au and 1.96g/t Au. The central Wilfred Prospect hosts a 3.5km-long 50ppb gold contour anomaly, with peak values of 0.56g/t Au and 0.51g/t Au, while the southern Ali Prospect comprises a 2km strike-length anomaly up to 1.2km wide, supported by peak results of 0.71g/t Au.
Total soil results from the recent program define a 7km strike extent that coincides closely with high magnetic anomalies.
Soil sampling was completed from the B-Horizon at a depth of around 40cm, targeting residual fine-grained soils developed directly above bedrock to maximise geochemical effectiveness.
Gold Ridge is strategically positioned within an emerging gold district in Côte d'Ivoire, approximately 35km northwest of Endeavour Mining’s Tanda-Iguela Gold Project, one of the country’s most significant recent gold discoveries. The project is also immediately adjacent to Koulou Gold’s Gontougo Project, in which Endeavour Mining holds a 20% interest.
Despite the scale and strength of the geochemical anomalies identified to date, the Gold Ridge Project remains entirely untested by either RC or diamond drilling, highlighting the significance of the upcoming drilling programs.
Drilling accelerates exploration plans
Auger drilling is underway as part of a fully funded 5,000-metre program designed to refine drill targets and improve understanding of the mineralised system. The work will support a planned 20,000-metre reverse circulation drilling campaign scheduled to begin in July.
Management said the growing scale of the anomaly, combined with favourable geological, geophysical and structural indicators, supports the interpretation of a significant gold-bearing corridor.
“Gold Ridge has rapidly evolved from a single exploration target into what we believe is a district-scale gold system with significant discovery potential," CEO John Morgan said.
“The definition of a coherent 7-kilometre gold corridor, supported by favourable geology, geophysical signatures, widespread artisanal workings and multiple high-grade soil anomalies, represents a major milestone in our understanding of the project and reinforces our confidence in the scale of the underlying mineralised system.
“Importantly, despite these highly encouraging results, the corridor remains untested by drilling. With auger drilling now underway and a 20,000m RC drilling program scheduled to commence in July 2026, we are rapidly advancing towards the next phase of exploration aimed at evaluating the source and continuity of this extensive gold anomalism."
Despite the encouraging surface results, the Gold Ridge prospect remains untested by reverse circulation or diamond drilling, with upcoming programs expected to provide the first subsurface assessment of the emerging gold system.
