Prescient appoints oncology drug development veteran Dr Rosalind Wilson as chief medical officer

Experienced oncology drug development executive Dr Rosalind Wilson is joining Prescient Therapeutics Ltd (ASX:PTX) as chief medical officer, effective from July 13, 2026.

The appointment is expected to strengthen PTX's clinical and strategic capabilities as it advances its pipeline through key stages of development.

Dr Wilson brings more than 30 years of experience across clinical development, regulatory strategy and executive leadership in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. Her career spans the full drug development process, from early-stage clinical trials through to regulatory approval and commercial launch.

Dr Rosalind Wilson is joining Prescient Therapeutics as chief medical officer.

Extensive global oncology and drug development experience

Dr Wilson joins Prescient from Telix Pharmaceuticals, where she served as global head of drug development, and has previously held senior roles including chief executive officer of ASX-listed Factor Therapeutics and chief medical officer positions with oncology-focused biotechnology companies.

One of the highlights of her career was leading the global development and launch strategy for Roche’s breast cancer therapy pertuzumab (Perjeta), contributing to accelerated approval timelines and regulatory milestones in breast cancer treatment.

Prescient said Dr Wilson's experience across multiple oncology indications and stages of development would support the company as it progresses its clinical programs.

Focus on PTX-100 and broader pipeline advancement

Dr Wilson succeeds Dr Marissa Lim, who has elected to step back from full-time employment and move into semi-retirement after helping advance Prescient’s clinical programs.

As chief medical officer, Dr Wilson will oversee the company’s clinical development strategy and execution, including advancement of PTX-100 in its Phase 2 cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL) study and progression of Prescient’s broader oncology pipeline.

Prescient chief executive officer James McDonnell said Dr Wilson’s experience would be valuable as the company enters its next phase of growth.

“We are delighted to welcome Dr Rosalind Wilson to Prescient,” he said.

“Ros brings an exceptional track record in oncology drug development and executive leadership, with deep experience advancing therapies through to approval and commercialisation. Her expertise will be instrumental as we progress our pipeline and deliver on our next phase of growth.”

McDonnell also thanked outgoing chief medical officer Dr Lim for her contribution to the company.

“We thank Dr Marissa Lim for her valuable contributions to Prescient and wish her well in her next chapter,” he said.

Investor briefing scheduled for June 29

Dr Wilson said she was looking forward to joining the company as it works to progress its cancer treatment programs.

“I am excited to join Prescient at such an important stage in its development,” she said.

“The company’s pipeline represents a compelling opportunity to deliver meaningful benefit to patients with cancer. I look forward to working with the team to advance these programs and unlock their full potential.”

Investors can hear more from Prescient chief executive officer James McDonnell during an online investor briefing scheduled for 11am AEST on June 29, 2026.
