Mindflair boosted as AI investee CameraMatics raises €49m

Mindflair PLC (AIM:MFAI) said it expects to receive €600,000 in cash after portfolio company CameraMatics, an AI-driven fleet intelligence platform for commercial transport operators, raised up to €49 million in new expansion funding.

The AI-focused investment company said the funding round was backed by a consortium led by Blume Equity, the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund and Goodbody Capital Partners.

Mindflair will receive €280,000 from a partial repayment of Sure Valley Ventures’ first fund’s investment in CameraMatics, effectively returning SVV1’s original investment while retaining a shareholding. A working capital facility provided by Mindflair and other investors in July 2025 is also being repaid, delivering a further €320,000 to Mindflair and representing a 78% cash return on that additional investment.

Sure Ventures PLC, in which Mindflair owns 24.4%, is also expected to receive €880,000 in cash proceeds from the transaction.

Nicholas Lee, director of Mindflair, said the deal was “another excellent result” that gives the company “a further significant cash realisation” while preserving exposure to CameraMatics.
