Titan Minerals Ltd (ASX:TTM, OTC:TTTNF) has restarted drilling at its flagship Dynasty Gold Project in southern Ecuador after trenching identified new areas of shallow gold-silver mineralisation outside the current resource footprint at the Cerro Verde prospect.
The company said three diamond rigs are now operating across the project, targeting both resource extensions and new exploration targets following the March 2026 mineral resource update that lifted Dynasty to 3.9 million ounces of gold and 26.1 million ounces of silver.
Recent trenching has highlighted opportunities to grow near-surface resources through low-cost follow-up drilling, with several high-grade results returned from both the eastern and western sides of Cerro Verde.
Chief executive officer Melanie Leighton said the company was looking to build on the exploration success achieved during 2025.
“We are excited to have the drill rigs turning again at Dynasty, as we look to build upon our 2025 exploration success, which culminated in the March 2026 MRE update of 3.9Moz gold & 26.1Moz silver, representing an uplift of 25% gold and 19% silver in contained resources,” Leighton said.
“Latest trench results at Dynasty have highlighted the potential for additional shallow (from surface) mineralisation to be rapidly added to the resource inventory,” she added. “We also have many exciting targets to test, including resource extensional targets and compelling exploration targets — gold, silver and copper.”

Trenching extends Cerro Verde footprint
The latest trenching campaign was designed to identify opportunities to expand mineralisation and increase oxide resources at Cerro Verde, which hosts about 70% of Dynasty's current mineral resource.
Among the strongest results reported were:
- 6.1 metres at 5.1 g/t gold and 3.9 g/t silver from trench CVT25-048;
- 3.7 metres at 3.8 g/t gold and 6.1 g/t silver from CVT25-052;
- 3.5 metres at 3.9 g/t gold and 21.9 g/t silver from CVC25-173;
- 1.6 metres at 12.6 g/t gold and 42.7 g/t silver from CVT25-033; and
- 4.4 metres at 3.1 g/t gold and 11.6 g/t silver from CVT26-056.
According to Titan, the trenching results indicate a 400-metre extension to the west and a further 150-metre extension to the east of the current Cerro Verde resource area. Follow-up drilling is planned to test the continuity of mineralisation at depth and assess its potential contribution to future resource growth.
The company believes successful drilling could support the addition of shallow oxide resources within the conceptual pit optimisation currently being evaluated as part of ongoing development studies.

Drills return to Brecha-Comanche
The recommenced drilling program will initially focus on the rapidly growing Brecha-Comanche target, where previous drilling intersected multiple zones of high-grade gold-silver mineralisation.
Notable intersections from the 2025 campaign included:
- 38.5 metres at 3.0 g/t gold and 5.6 g/t silver, including 7.5 metres at 11.0 g/t gold, from hole CVDD25-173;
- 31.4 metres at 2.3 g/t gold and 7.1 g/t silver from CVDD25-186;
- 31.6 metres at 2.2 g/t gold and 5.4 g/t silver from CVDD25-141; and
- 13.0 metres at 4.5 g/t gold and 22.1 g/t silver from CVDD25-122.
Several of these mineralised zones remain open and will be tested by the current resource-extension drilling campaign. First assay results are expected within four to six weeks.
Studies advance alongside resource growth
The drilling restart comes less than three months after Titan upgraded the Dynasty resource by 25% to 3.9Moz gold and 26.1Moz silver, driven largely by growth at Cerro Verde.
Alongside exploration, the company is advancing scoping studies for the project, with mine planning, pit optimisation and engineering work under way through independent mining consultancy Orelogy. The study is expected to be completed in late Q3 or early Q4 2026.
Leighton said the company expected a steady stream of exploration results while also progressing development studies.
“We look forward to delivering further results from the drill bit, while we also continue to derisk the Dynasty Gold Project, with scoping study results anticipated to provide a strategic framework for further feasibility studies and our resource growth and conversion drilling programs going forward.”
