FireFly Metals Ltd (ASX:FFM, TSX:FFM, OTC:MNXMF) will change its OTC Markets ticker symbol from MNXMF to FFMFF from today, June 9, 2026, bringing its US trading code into line with its ASX and TSX ticker, FFM as it continues to focus on its flagship Green Bay Copper Gold Project.
The change is designed to create greater consistency across the markets where its shares trade and improve recognition among US-based investors. The ticker update is administrative in nature and will not affect the company’s operations, capital structure or shareholder rights.
No impact on shareholders or existing listings
The company confirmed that its ordinary shares will continue to trade on the ASX and Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol FFM.
The change also has no effect on FireFly’s CUSIP or ISIN identifiers, while shareholders are not required to take any action as a result of the update.
OTC Markets provides a platform for US investors to access international and emerging growth companies through an electronic quotation and trading system.
Companies quoted on OTC Markets can benefit from increased visibility within the US investment community, broader access for retail and institutional investors and potentially improved market awareness and trading liquidity.
FireFly drilling reinforces high-grade Core Zone at Green Bay
Meanwhile, FireFly continues to advance the Green Bay Copper-Gold Project in Newfoundland, which recently strengthened confidence in the scale, grade, and continuity of the project’s high-grade Core Zone.
The results come ahead of a planned Mineral Resource Estimate update this quarter, which is expected to support the company’s Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA), on track for completion in mid-2026.
Green Bay currently hosts a resource of 50.4 million tonnes at 2.0% copper equivalent (CuEq) in the measured and indicated categories, plus 29.3 million tonnes at 2.5% CuEq inferred.
Within this, the Core Zone accounts for 8.8 million tonnes at 3.9% CuEq measured and indicated and 10.9 million tonnes at 3.8% CuEq inferred.
