Cybersecurity company Rubrik Inc (NYSE:RBRK) reported first-quarter results that topped Wall Street estimates aftermarket Thursday, lifted by strong subscription growth and improving margins, and raised its full-year outlook as demand for AI-era cyber resilience solutions continues to build.
The data security firm posted adjusted earnings per share of $0.16 for its fiscal first quarter, well above analyst estimates of a $0.53 loss. Total revenue rose 39% year-over-year to $387.1 million, beating the Street's $366.3 million estimate and topping the company's own guidance range of $365 million to $367 million.
DocuSign Inc (NASDAQ:DOCU) shares fell nearly 5% on Friday after the electronic signature company reported first-quarter results that topped analyst estimates but offered full-year guidance that failed to impress investors.
The San Francisco-based company posted Q1 fiscal 2027 revenue of $830.2 million, above the $823.23 million consensus estimate and up 9% from a year earlier. Adjusted earnings per share came in at $1.09, beating the $1 estimate.
Planet Labs (NYSE:PL) reported first-quarter fiscal 2027 revenue and earnings above Wall Street estimates on Friday, with its defense and intelligence segment growing more than 65% year-over-year, though shares fell more than 19% in morning trading.
The satellite imagery company posted revenue of $94.2 million for the quarter, up 42% from a year earlier and ahead of analyst estimates of $90 million and the company's own guidance range of $87 million to $91 million. Adjusted loss per share came in at $0.03, better than the estimated loss of $0.04.
Bitcoin is unlikely to stage a meaningful recovery in June, according to traders on Polymarket, the prediction market platform, with the heaviest betting concentrated around a modest rise to $65,000 from its current level of around $63,000.
The Polymarket market, which asks what price Bitcoin will hit before resolving on 1 July 2026, shows the $65,000 outcome commanding a 76% probability, by far the most heavily backed threshold on the board.
Shares in Iofina PLC (AIM:IOF, OTC:IOFNF) jumped 6% to 44.9p after it signed an agreement with a new brine water supplier that it expects to increase annual crystalline iodine production at its IO#11 plant in Central Oklahoma by around 50%.
The deal will give the plant, which became operational in July 2025, a second independent brine supply partner alongside its existing provider.
