AMC Robotics Corporation (NASDAQ:AMCI) has made two strategic investments in Etronium AI, a North Carolina-based technology company developing agentic AI frameworks for hardware-in-the-loop workflows, the company announced Thursday.
The AI-driven robotics solutions provider invested in Etronium AI through Simple Agreements for Future Equity on April 7 and May 19, with each agreement entitling AMC Robotics to receive equity upon future qualifying events including a bona fide equity financing or liquidity event.
Etronium AI's platform uses large language models to enable AI agents to interact directly with physical hardware, supporting firmware development, device monitoring, and hardware-in-the-loop testing across various microcontrollers and operating systems. The company says its technology delivers a 30-50% reduction in time-to-prototype and a 40-60% reduction in integration effort.
"By validating AI performance against live hardware rather than simulation alone, their technology directly attacks one of the most time-consuming and costly stages of robotics development," said Sean Da, CEO of AMC Robotics.
The investment is intended to accelerate development of the company's Kyro quadruped robotic platform and NovaArm warehouse logistics robot, and supports AMC Robotics' broader strategy to build an ecosystem of enabling technologies across industrial, security, and commercial markets.
Shares of AMC Robotics were up 8.2% on Thursday morning.
