Dalaroo Metals Ltd (ASX:DAL) CEO John Morgan talked with Proactive about the company's latest exploration results from the Gold Ridge prospect within its Bondoukou Gold Project in Côte d'Ivoire, where a large-scale gold anomaly continues to demonstrate the potential for a significant mineralised gold system.
Morgan discussed the emergence of a district-scale gold target, highlighting that Gold Ridge has already defined a coherent mineralised corridor extending approximately 4.3 kilometres along strike, with the broader mineralisation trend extending to around 9 kilometres. The company believes the scale of the anomaly compares favourably with the early stages of several major gold discoveries in Côte d'Ivoire.
The latest Priority 1 soil geochemistry program returned a peak result of 2,188 parts per billion (ppb) gold, supported by hundreds of anomalous samples and numerous results exceeding 200ppb gold. Morgan noted that these results are particularly encouraging given that many exploration companies in West Africa have advanced drilling programs based on lower soil geochemistry values.
With only limited drilling completed so far, Dalaroo Metals is continuing exploration activities designed to better understand the geometry and continuity of mineralisation beneath the weathered profile while refining future drill targets. The company believes Gold Ridge remains at an early stage of the discovery curve with substantial exploration upside ahead.
