Careteq Ltd (ASX:CTQ) has appointed experienced company director and Chartered Accountant Leonard Math as a non-executive director, effective immediately, as Brett Cheong steps down from the board.
Math brings more than 18 years’ experience across ASX-listed companies and private enterprises, including public company compliance, corporate governance, statutory reporting and shareholder relations.
Why the board change matters
Math’s appointment will support the company as it continues to build out its healthtech platform, with a focus on further implementation of artificial intelligence, assessing acquisition opportunities and delivering commercial milestones.
Executive chair and CEO Mark Simari welcomed Math to the board, saying the company looked forward to his contribution during its next phase of development.
The company also thanked Cheong for his contribution and service since joining the board, wishing him success in the future.
