Orica Ltd (ASX:ORI) has completed its acquisition of the Nelson Brothers explosives joint venture business in the US, strengthening its downstream presence and expanding its manufacturing and distribution network.
The deal improves access to key quarrying and construction customers while simplifying its operating structure in the region. The acquisition will support a more diversified and resilient supply platform, enhancing security of supply for customers and improving operational flexibility.
The company also anticipates earnings benefits.
