Cosmos Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ:COSM)(dba Cosmos Health) is entering the animal health market, extending its C-Scrub brand into the veterinary space after the product passed testing against European standards, the company said Monday.
The move takes C-Scrub, one of the company's branded products, into veterinary applications following what Cosmos described as successful European standard testing. The expansion adds an animal health use case to the brand's existing positioning.
Moving into veterinary care opens a new end market for C-Scrub and broadens Cosmos Health's commercial reach beyond its current portfolio. Clearing European testing requirements gives the company a basis to market the product into the animal health channel.
“The successful testing of C-Scrub Wash 4% under EN 1656 and EN 1657 represents an important milestone as we extend a brand we have already established in the human healthcare market into the fast-growing veterinary sector,” said Greg Siokas, CEO of Cosmos Health.
“This marks Cosmos Health's first entry into animal health, and we believe that combining existing C-Scrub brand awareness, manufacturing capabilities, and distribution infrastructure positions us to pursue meaningful commercial opportunities globally.”

Shares of Cosmos Health were up 8.5% on Monday at $0.27.
