Arizona Gold & Silver CEO discusses progress at Philadelphia project in Arizona - ICYMI

Arizona Gold & Silver Inc (TSX-V:AZS, OTCQB:AZASF, FRA:A9J0) earlier this week provided an update on drilling activity and permitting progress at its Philadelphia gold project in Arizona, with chief executive Mike Stark highlighting continued exploration momentum and a strong treasury position.

Speaking with Proactive from the project site, Stark said drilling at hole 169 was nearing completion and continued to produce encouraging visual indications from the core.

He noted that the company recently hosted another interested party at the property as development activity accelerates.

Stark said Arizona Gold & Silver remained well-funded, describing the company as having a “2-3 year runway” following progress on the Sorbie transaction, which he indicated was approaching completion after recent discussions with the TSX.

The company continues to advance permitting with the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), where additional approvals are expected to support expanded drilling activity. Stark reported that recent meetings with regulators had been positive and said there were “no red flags” in the process.

The Philadelphia project remains centred around the highly prospective area surrounding drill hole 156, which Stark described as the company’s “best hole ever.” He said follow-up drilling had identified additional significant intervals, including a vein system measuring approximately 165 metres wide.

Arizona Gold & Silver is currently drilling from BLM pad two while preparing for future work from pad ten, where the company intends to test mineralization below hole 156 once permits are finalized. Stark indicated the permit approval could arrive imminently.

Infrastructure continues to represent a strategic advantage for the project. Stark noted that the site benefits from nearby access to power, water, and transportation infrastructure located roughly six miles away, factors that could support future development scenarios if exploration success continues.

The company’s ongoing drill campaign and permitting milestones represent potential near-term catalysts for investors, particularly as Arizona Gold & Silver works to expand mineralized zones around its strongest historical intercepts.

Further assay results and permit approvals are expected to remain key market drivers over the coming months.
