Computacenter PLC (LSE:CCC), the London-listed technology services provider, is acquiring Government Acquisitions Inc (GAI), a US value-added reseller focused on the federal government market, for an enterprise value of up to $92 million.
The deal, which has been cleared by the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States and is expected to close on 1 June, gives Computacenter its first foothold in the US federal sector.
An initial cash payment of $63 million will be funded from existing resources, with up to $29 million in additional performance-based payments through to the end of 2027. The acquisition is expected to be immediately earnings accretive.
GAI, headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, employs around 90 people and has more than 35 years of experience serving federal agencies. It reported gross invoiced income of approximately $390 million in 2025 with adjusted EBITDA of roughly $8 million.
The business was recognised as Nvidia's US public sector partner of the year for 2025.
GAI's existing leadership will remain in place, with the business operating as a specialist federal government unit within Computacenter's North American operations.
Chief executive Mike Norris said the acquisition provides access to a new growth market in the United States while diversifying the group's business and leveraging its expanding capabilities.
Computacenter already has established public sector relationships across Europe and Canada.
