BPH Global Ltd (ASX:BP8, FRA:USZ0) has recorded its second-highest monthly seaweed trading result to date, generating gross sales of IDR 4.965 billion, or about A$391,000, for the 12th trading period from 15 April to 14 May 2026.
The result takes aggregate gross sales from the company’s first 12 months of Indonesian seaweed trading operations to around A$3.33 million.
BPH said the latest month reflected a strong rebound in trading activity as Makassar transitioned out of monsoon conditions, with improved weather supporting stronger harvesting activity, better product quality and increased seaweed availability.
Dry season supports operational outlook
Underlying customer demand remained stable across domestic and export markets during the period.
With Makassar moving further into favourable dry season conditions, BPH expects continued consistency in harvesting activity and trading performance in the near term.
The company’s operational focus remains on strengthening engagement with Makassar-based farmer networks, improving procurement consistency and increasing trading throughput, while supporting reliable supply into domestic and export channels.
BPH’s next trading update will cover the period from May 15 to June 30, 2026, as it transitions reporting to align with the FY26 period ending June 30, and future calendar-month updates.
The company said it would continue to provide periodic updates on sales volumes from its Indonesia-based seaweed operations.
