Salesforce reports double-digit revenue growth in Q1, lifts full-year profit guidance

Salesforce Inc (NYSE:CRM, XETRA:FOO) achieved reported first quarter financial results that topped analyst expectations on earnings and showed continued double-digit growth in revenue, alongside expanded margins and an increased full-year profit outlook.

For the quarter ended April 30, the company posted revenue of $11.1 billion, up 13% year-over-year, or 12% in constant currency, including contributions from Informatica. Subscription and support revenue rose 14% year-over-year to $10.6 billion.

On the bottom line, GAAP diluted earnings per share came in at $2.42, up 52% from a year earlier, while non-GAAP diluted EPS reached $3.88, up 50% year-over-year and above the analyst consensus of $3.13.

Remaining performance obligation (RPO) totaled $67.9 billion, up 11% year-over-year, while current remaining performance obligation rose 14% to $33.6 billion.

The company said annual recurring revenue from its Agentforce and Data 360 platforms reached nearly $3.4 billion during the period, highlighting continued growth in its AI and data-focused offerings.

The results also included $444 million in revenue contribution from Informatica, following its inclusion in Salesforce’s reporting structure.

“This was an outstanding quarter for Salesforce — record revenue, record deals, and cash flow,” Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff said in a statement.

“Agentic AI is the biggest growth opportunity for our customers, and for Salesforce. We’re the #1 Agentic CRM, with Agentforce now powering every Customer 360 application and helping tens of thousands of businesses across every industry transform into Agentic Enterprises.”

For the second quarter, Salesforce expects revenue between $11.27 billion and $11.35 billion, slightly below the analyst consensus of $11.36 billion. Non-GAAP EPS is guided to $3.25 to $3.27, in line with expectations.

For the full fiscal 2027 year, the company raised its non-GAAP EPS outlook to $14.06 to $14.12, above prior expectations and ahead of previous Wall Street consensus estimates. Full-year revenue is projected between $45.9 billion and $46.2 billion.

Salesforce returned $27.5 billion to shareholders during the Q1, primarily through $27.1 billion in share repurchases and $365 million in dividend payments. The company also entered into a $25 billion accelerated share repurchase program, with roughly 80% of expected shares already delivered upfront.

Shares of Salesforce fell 3% on the report.
