archTIS clears final US DoD testing hurdle for NC Protect deployment

Cybersecurity company archTIS Ltd (ASX:AR9, OTCQB:ARHLF) says its NC Protect platform has passed the final internal production testing phase with the US Department of Defense (DoD), marking a major step towards potential deployment in high-assurance military environments.

archTIS announced the DoD completed the final round of Warfighter Command production testing for NC Protect on April 30, with a formal pilot report issued on May 20 confirming the platform met all 60 of 60 test cases assessed.

All test cases cleared

The testing covered US personnel, releasable user and attribute-based access control (ABAC) data segregation scenarios, with the customer validating that NC Protect met the command’s ABAC security requirements. No remaining technical barriers were identified during the assessment.

archTIS said the successful outcome strengthened its position in ongoing commercial negotiations with the DoD and could support a short-to-near-term mandate for the platform within US defence operations.

The company also pointed to the operational backdrop surrounding the testing process, noting the DoD prioritised completion of the internal production assessment despite ongoing US military operations in the Middle East.

Chief executive officer Daniel Lai described the outcome as the strongest endorsement the company had received for NC Protect within a US defence environment.

“The combination of meeting all 60 of 60 mission-critical test cases and the operational urgency that drove the US Department of Defense to prioritise and complete this final round of Warfighter Command production testing on 30 April speaks directly to the importance of the capability NC Protect delivers,” Lai said.

“With internal testing now complete and no remaining technical barriers identified, NC Protect is positioned for a short-term mandate within the US DoD.”

Defence momentum builds

NC Protect is archTIS’ flagship data-centric security platform and is designed to enforce granular access controls for sensitive information across cloud, on-premises and hybrid environments.

The platform uses ABAC technology to control how classified or sensitive information is accessed, shared and protected across different users and systems — a capability increasingly in focus as defence agencies modernise secure collaboration infrastructure.

The update follows a series of defence-related contract wins and platform milestones for archTIS over the past year.

In February, the company secured a A$1.22 million contract with a US and European military alliance to provide data security capabilities supporting secure collaboration across transatlantic allied defence operations, building on its US momentum.

More recently, archTIS reported annual recurring revenue growth of 231% across its data security platforms as it continued expanding its footprint in defence, government and regulated enterprise sectors.

archTIS said it would continue updating the market as further material information became available regarding the NC Protect opportunity with the US DoD.
