hVIVO PLC (AIM:HVO), the human challenge trial specialist, will hold a capital markets day on 11 June in Canary Wharf as it seeks to reposition itself as a full-service early clinical development partner.
The event will feature speakers from Boehringer Ingelheim, RA Capital, ILiAD Biotechnologies and Decoy Therapeutics, alongside hVIVO's own leadership team.
Presentations will include case studies on the company's role in supporting Cidara Therapeutics' drug development strategy, which led to a $9 billion exit, and what is described as the world's first phase III pivotal human challenge trial, run by ILiAD Biotechnologies.
hVIVO has been evolving beyond its core specialism in human challenge trials, where healthy volunteers are deliberately exposed to pathogens in controlled settings, into a broader platform offering preclinical strategy, first-in-human studies, patient trials and specialist laboratory services.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to tour the company's quarantine facility and laboratories.
