Lightning Minerals' Warby tungsten exploration gains momentum

Lightning Minerals' Warby tungsten exploration gains momentum

Lightning Minerals CEO Troy Bryce talked with Proactive about rock chip sampling exploration at the company’s Warby Project in northern Queensland and the emerging tungsten opportunity identified on the tenement.

The company identified what appears to be a two-kilometre strike zone of tungsten mineralisation hosted in quartz material. Bryce said the discovery highlights the broader mineral potential of the region, which is already known for tungsten production through nearby operations including the Mount Carbine mine.

Discussing the strategic importance of tungsten, Bryce noted that global supply constraints and rising demand are creating strong market conditions for the commodity.

Looking ahead, Lightning Minerals expects assay results from the current sampling campaign within the next few weeks. The company also plans to expand exploration activities across the Warby tenement during the North Queensland dry season, alongside concurrent work programs at Mount Turner.
