Alcidion managing director and CEO Kate Quirke talked with Proactive about the company’s acquisition of Telstra Health’s patient flow business and how the deal strengthens Alcidion’s position in digital healthcare solutions.
Alcidion has agreed to pay an up-front $3 million for the Kyra Patient Flow Manager, Kyra Queue Manager and Kyra IQ products, with a further earn-out of up to $1 million tied to future recurring revenue targets.
The acquisition will add 33 customer sites to Alcidion and further strengthen its recurring revenue base. Quirke said the deal aligns strategically with the company’s long-term growth ambitions and provides opportunities to transition customers from older on-premise systems onto Alcidion’s modern cloud-enabled platform.
