Valereum PLC (AQSE:VLRM, FRA:6TJ, OTCQB:VLRMF) has raised £1.05 million to accelerate the scale-up of VLRM Markets, its tokenised digital markets platform.
The Aquis-listed company raised £650,000 through a placing of 32.5 million new shares and a further £400,000 through a subscription of 20 million new shares. Both were priced at 2p per share. Investors will receive one warrant for every two placing or subscription shares, exercisable at 6p.
Valereum said the proceeds will support issuer conversion and expand distribution reach through strategic partnerships and collaborations. Admission of the new shares to trading on the Aquis Growth Market is expected on or around 20 May 2026.
Executive chair James Bannon and chief executive Gary Cottle participated in the raise, each subscribing for 10 million shares, increasing their holdings to 17.84% and 3.86% respectively.
