Faron Pharmaceuticals Limited (AIM:FARN), the AIM-listed clinical-stage immunotherapy company, will present new data from its BEXMAB study at the European Haematology Association congress in Stockholm next month.
The poster presentation, scheduled for 12 June, will detail how the company's drug bexmarilimab works within the bone marrow when combined with azacitidine, a standard chemotherapy, in patients with higher-risk myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS), a group of blood cancers where treatment options remain limited.
The data include a 45% complete remission rate in previously untreated higher-risk MDS patients and median overall survival of 14.5 months in patients whose disease had returned or stopped responding to treatment, both exceeding historical benchmarks for azacitidine alone.
Faron said the abstract acceptance continues the scientific momentum from 2025, when bexmarilimab data were presented at five major oncology and haematology conferences.
The company will host a webcast on 15 June to discuss the findings in further detail.
