Lightning Minerals Ltd (ASX:L1M, FRA:YZ1) CEO Troy Brice talked with Proactive about the company’s expanded technical and corporate leadership team as it advances a strategic reset focused on Australian gold exploration.
Brice discussed the appointment of experienced geoscientist and corporate executive Andrew Lambert as exploration and corporate development manager, describing Lambert as a rare combination of technical and commercial expertise. According to Brice, Lambert brings extensive experience in financing, capital markets and corporate leadership that aligns with Lightning Minerals’ next phase of growth.
The company recently repositioned itself around its flagship Mt Turner Gold Project in north Queensland, transitioning away from its earlier lithium focus to become a gold-led exploration and development company. Brice said Lambert will help lead the divestment of lithium assets while supporting the growth of the company’s gold and copper portfolio.
Brice also highlighted the strengthening of the company’s technical team, including support from mining executive Lee Spencer, who has more than 44 years of experience in the commodities sector.
Looking ahead, Lightning Minerals plans to begin its phase two drilling campaign in early June, targeting expansion opportunities along a 14-kilometre gold strike corridor on the Dromedary Fault line at Mt Turner.
