Atomic Eagle Ltd (ASX:AEU, FRA:6QZ0) has expanded the high-grade southwest zone at the Chisebuka target within its 100%-owned Muntanga Uranium Project in Zambia, with 13 of the first 15 holes in a 2026 drilling program intersecting uranium mineralisation outside the current resource area.
The first 15 holes, comprising 1,540 metres of drilling, form part of a planned 30,000-metre campaign targeting resource growth across Chisebuka, Namakande and Muntanga North.
Results included 12.7 metres at 673ppm eU₃O₈ from 18 metres in hole CHDTH2193, 24 metres at 448ppm eU₃O₈ from 32.2 metres and 15.9 metres at 361ppm eU₃O₈ from 4.7 metres in CHDTH2192, as well as 21 metres at 283ppm eU₃O₈ from 26.2 metres in CHDTH2194.

Drilling has confirmed the Chisebuka southwest higher-grade zone now extends over 600 metres by 300 metres and has been drilled to the density required for mineral resource estimation.
Near-surface mineralisation targeted for resource growth
Chisebuka already hosts an inferred mineral resource of 19.9 million tonnes at 220ppm U₃O₈ for 9.7 million pounds of contained U₃O₈, defined in the north-eastern zone after a 69-hole program in 2025.
The 2026 program is designed to test mineralisation outside that existing resource, with about 120 vertical holes planned at Chisebuka to intersect what Atomic Eagle describes as stacked mineralised lenses extending from surface to depths of up to 150 metres.
CEO Phil Hoskins said the company’s 2026 goal of increasing the Muntanga mineral resource was “off to a great start”, with Chisebuka’s southwest zone emerging as a potential key addition.

Drilling will continue at Chisebuka with 2 rigs focused on expanding higher-grade and near-surface zones. Further results are expected in the coming weeks.
Atomic Eagle has also started ground radiometric surveys at Namakande and Muntanga North to refine airborne anomalies ahead of drilling expected later this quarter
