Bango PLC (AIM:BGO, OTCQX:BGOPF) has moved to reshape its board for its next growth phase, naming Darcy Antonellis as non-executive chair.
Antonellis, who has been a non-executive independent director since September 2023, will take up the role at the conclusion of the company’s upcoming annual general meeting.
She will replace Ray Anderson, who will step down as executive chair at the AGM but remain on the board as non-executive founder director.
Bango said Antonellis brings board-level experience across technology, media and digital platform businesses, including current roles on the boards of Cinemark and Xperi.
Tony Perkins will also leave the board at the AGM after deciding not to seek re-election because of increasing commitments in his consultancy business. Perkins served as senior independent director and chair of the audit and risk committee during what Bango described as a period of substantial operational and financial evolution.
The company has started a process to appoint a new non-executive director and audit committee chair.
