Biome Australia Ltd (ASX:BIO) has extended its exclusive supply agreement with long-term strain partner Probiotical SpA for a further two years, providing continuity in the company’s supply chain as it expands internationally.
The new agreement replaces the previous deal, which had been due to expire in June 2026, and will now remain in place until 2028 on existing commercial terms.
The extension would support its growth strategy across Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland and New Zealand, while reinforcing a relationship that has been in place since the company was founded in 2018.
Founder and managing director Blair Vega Norfolk described Probiotical as one of the company’s most important strategic partners.
“This two-year extension on existing terms gives both businesses the certainty to continue executing as Biome scales internationally,” he said.
Australian manufacturing plans continue
Biome said the agreement extension sits alongside its Australian manufacturing onshoring program, which remains underway as part of a broader strategy to strengthen local capability. The company expects to provide a further update on its manufacturing initiatives during calendar 2026.
The continuation of the Probiotical agreement is expected to provide operational stability while the company advances those local manufacturing plans.
