Altech Batteries Ltd (ASX:ATC, OTC:ALTHF, FRA:A3Y) will discontinue its Silumina Anodes project in Saxony, Germany, after a strategic review by its new board found the project unlikely to deliver shareholder benefits. The company will liquidate subsidiary AIG on 30 June 2026, selling land back to the local government for €450,000 and realising value from pilot plant and R&D assets.
Altech will redirect funds to commercialising its CERENERGY® battery project.
