M2i Global secures Hawthorne Army depot deal - ICYMI

M2i Global Inc (OTC:MTWO) earlier this week announced progress toward establishing a critical mineral repository at the Hawthorne Army Depot in Nevada, a move the company believes will strengthen supply chain resilience for strategically important materials.

In an interview with Proactive, chief executive Alberto Rosende said the company had secured a tenant use agreement for the facility following discussions with the depot over the last several years.

Rosende described the Hawthorne Army Depot as an ideal location because of its extensive logistics infrastructure and relevance to national defense and economic security initiatives.

Rosende said M2i Global was founded in 2022 with the objective of contributing to “a more stable, resilient and responsible critical mineral supply chain.” He explained that the ability to acquire, trace and store minerals is a key part of the company’s strategy to help customers hedge against supply disruptions.

The Hawthorne Army Depot, located in Nevada, spans more than 147,000 acres and includes extensive rail connectivity, road access and large-scale storage capabilities. Rosende said the depot’s infrastructure, originally designed to support ammunition manufacturing and storage, offers a strong operational platform for critical minerals management.

The executive highlighted gallium, graphite and copper among the materials expected to be stored at the site. He noted that gallium presents specific storage challenges because of its low melting point and requires environmental management systems to maintain proper conditions.

Rosende said the company expects to finalise lease documentation within the next 30 days and hopes to begin storing materials within three to six months.

The development could represent an important operational milestone for M2i Global as governments and industries increasingly focus on securing domestic and allied supply chains for critical minerals.

In addition to the repository update, Rosende confirmed that Volato’s board has approved the proposed merger with M2i Global. He described the approval as a “key milestone” and said the companies are now moving toward completing the final mechanics of the transaction.

The merger remains a notable catalyst for investors as it is expected to allow the combined company to remain listed on a major exchange while potentially broadening market visibility and access to capital.

Meanwhile, progress at the Hawthorne repository may position M2i Global to benefit from growing demand for secure storage and supply chain solutions tied to critical minerals used in defense, technology and industrial applications.
