Arizona Gold & Silver reports high-grade intercepts, expands Perry Zone at Philadelphia project

Arizona Gold & Silver Inc (TSX-V:AZS, OTCQB:AZASF, FRA:A9J0) reported assay results from four diamond drill holes at its Philadelphia project in Arizona, highlighting multiple high-grade gold and silver intercepts and continued expansion of the Perry Zone mineralization.

The company said the 1,105-metre drill program included three holes targeting up-dip extensions of the high-grade Perry Zone and one deeper step-out hole.

The results indicate continuity of mineralization within a fluid upwelling system and support the interpreted geometry of high-grade zones.

Key intercepts include hole PC26-162, which returned 3.35 metres grading 15.07 grams per tonne (g/t) gold and 19.6 g/t silver, within a broader interval of 28.32 metres at 2.81 g/t gold and 4.9 g/t silver.

The company said the mineralization is associated with quartz-calcite veining and brecciation, consistent with boiling zone conditions.

Hole PC26-163 intersected 2.68 metres grading 6.74 g/t gold and 3.1 g/t silver within a wider 23.35-metre interval grading 1.66 g/t gold and 1.9 g/t silver.

Meanwhile, hole PC26-164 returned 7.41 metres at 4.39 g/t gold and 5.6 g/t silver, within a broader 60.02 metres grading 1.32 g/t gold and 3.1 g/t silver.

The fourth hole, PC26-161, tested a deeper lateral position and returned lower-grade mineralization, including 2.35 metres at 1.09 g/t gold and 2.3 g/t silver. The company said this hole likely lies outside the primary upwelling zone.

Arizona Gold & Silver said the results confirm strong continuity of mineralization across multiple drill holes and validate its exploration model for the Perry Zone. The drilling also successfully expanded the system along strike and up-dip relative to previous holes.

Additional assays from three more drill holes are pending, the company said.

Dr. Lex Lambeck, Arizona’s senior vice president exploration, said the latest drilling continues to define the geological controls on mineralization.

“These drill holes are testing what we refer to as the Perry Zone Upwelling, where fluids in the hydrothermal system have been focussed and where ‘boiling’ took place. This has resulted in the high grades we are seeing,” Lambeck said in a statement.

“The upwelling is defined by a structural dilation zone, one of several that exist at Philadelphia. Vein textures and mineralization styles confirm we remain at the top of the boiling zone along the approximately three kilometers strike of the Arabian Fault.”

He added that the company is focused on expanding the system while advancing broader exploration efforts.

“Our objective remains to expand the Perry Zone both north-south and down dip while advancing district-scale exploration across the entire Philadelphia Property,” he said. “Ongoing fieldwork is defining additional high-priority targets, including the Eastern and Northeastern Anomalies.”

Looking ahead, the company plans to continue drilling along the Perry Zone while advancing structural analysis to identify additional high-grade targets. It is also awaiting a Bureau of Land Management permit that would allow for deeper drilling and testing of the Red Hills area, where the company sees potential for bulk-tonnage mineralization.

Concurrent fieldwork is ongoing to refine drill targets across the broader property, which the company said continues to demonstrate district-scale exploration potential.

“With the recently announced funding agreement with Sorbie, the company can significantly increase our exploration programs,” Arizona CEO Mike Stark said.

“Drilling on both Philadelphia and initiate drilling at our Silverton gold-antimony property. Investors can expect significantly increased news flow through 2026."

Shares of Arizona Gold & Silver added around 3.2% in early Wednesday trading in Toronto.
