Animoca Brands Corporation Ltd (Unlisted (AU):AB1) has launched an investment program of up to US$10 million for early-stage developers building applications on its persistent AI agent platform, Minds by Animoca Brands.
The program is open to teams developing deployable products and scalable businesses that use Minds as a core product layer across sectors including gaming, finance, productivity and social applications.
The investment allocation will be quality-driven rather than tied to a fixed deployment schedule, with capital directed to projects showing a clear product thesis, execution capability and commercial pathway.
Selected teams will also receive platform support, Cognition Credits and direct access to the Minds technical team.
They will additionally be connected with Animoca Brands’ broader ecosystem, which includes more than 600 Web3 companies and projects, creating potential partnership and distribution opportunities.
Persistent AI agents
Minds is designed to allow users and developers to deploy persistent, always-on AI agents without needing to manage local servers, hardware or software.
The platform supports AI agents with persistent context, collaborative functionality and access through tools such as email or Telegram.
Animoca said the platform was intended to reduce technical barriers while allowing users to retain control and customisation over their AI agents.
Building for Web4
Animoca described the “agentic web”, or Web4, as an evolution of the internet in which autonomous AI agents with persistent memory can negotiate, collaborate and transact on behalf of users.
“Just as blockchain redefined digital ownership, agentic AI will redefine autonomy, unlocking new forms of creativity, coordination and economic participation,” Animoca Brands co-founder and executive chairman Yat Siu said.
