Astral Resources managing director Marc Ducler talked with Proactive about recent drilling success at the company’s flagship Mandilla Gold Project and the growing potential of the Theia deposit in Western Australia.
Ducler said the company’s latest diamond drilling campaign has delivered “consistent runs of quartz veining, visible gold and sulfide,” with both holes extended significantly beyond their original planned depths after encouraging observations underground. According to Ducler, Astral expects the assays to demonstrate that the company has “significantly increased the depth potential of Theia as a deposit.”
Astral is also progressing a three-phase infill drilling program designed to support the Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS) for Mandilla. Elsewhere, the company continues to assess the high-grade Five Mile deposit at Spargoville following its acquisition through the Spargoville transaction.
