Highland Critical Minerals Corp (CSE:HLND, FRA:U8X) has announced plans for a summer exploration program at its Church property in northern Ontario.
The company is planning the exploration program following the successful close of a non-brokered flow-through private placement that raised gross proceeds of $400,000.
Highland Critical Minerals said it expects to begin the program at the end of May.
Planned activities include a radiometric and LiDAR geophysical survey as well as a sampling program.
The program will be subject to weather conditions, and exploration expenditures are expected to qualify as eligible expenditures under the flow-through financing.
"We are excited to have support from the market, which resulted in the successful closing of our flow-through financing and are looking forward to providing an update on exploration program at the Church property in the coming months," CEO Ted Yew CEO said in a statement.
Highland is a mineral exploration and development company focused on the acquisition and exploration of mining properties in Ontario, Canada.
In addition to the Church property, the company is also advancing exploration at its Sy property.
Shares of Highland Critical Minerals were up about 20% following the announcement.
