Light Science Technologies shares jump 19% on first Injectaclad supply order

Light Science Technologies Holdings PLC (AIM:LST, FRA:9FD) shares rose 19% to 1.85p after the technology and manufacturing business secured its first order as a supplier of Injectaclad, a fire-resistant graphite barrier system used in building cladding remediation.

The £410,000 contract covers material to be delivered over a 19-week project on a five-storey residential building in East Yorkshire, with work beginning in early May 2026.

The order comes weeks after the company acquired RLUK Injection Ltd, the former owner of Injectaclad, on 14 April 2026, a deal designed to move Light Science up the value chain from installer to material supplier.

Within two weeks of completing the acquisition, the company has secured product commitments from five of the 11 accredited contractors in the Injectaclad installation network.

All £410,000 of revenue is expected to be recognised in the current financial year.

The Building Safety Regulator continues to push for faster cladding remediation across the UK, a regulatory backdrop the company believes will drive further demand.
