Plus500 Ltd (LSE:PLUS) said trading in the opening months of 2026 has been ahead of expectations, as the online trading platform pointed to continued growth across its business.
The online trading platform issued the update ahead of the company’s annual general meeting in London and comes just two weeks after the group upgraded its full-year outlook. No changes to financial guidance have been made.
The 2026 financial year began with strong momentum across both over-the-counter and other operations, with progress highlighted in newer areas, including business-to-business futures and prediction markets, which have helped expand its addressable market and diversify revenues
Performance in the first quarter was supported by market volatility, which typically drives higher trading activity, alongside continued investment in technology-led customer acquisition.
The board said it remains confident in the outlook for the 2026 financial year, citing a strong balance sheet and a clear strategic roadmap.
