Frontier IP investee company appoints new chief financial officer

Frontier IP Group PLC (LSE:FIPP, FRA:8WT), the intellectual property commercialisation specialist, has appointed Shaun Claydon as chief financial officer and company secretary with immediate effect.

Claydon is a chartered accountant with more than 20 years of experience in senior financial leadership, including over 15 years at board level, with a background spanning fundraising, mergers and acquisitions, and growth strategy.

He joins from Actimed Therapeutics, where he co-led a Series B equity funding round securing a multi-million-pound investment for clinical programmes, and previously served as chief financial officer of Destiny Pharma for six years.

Earlier in his career, he held senior roles at HSBC Investment Banking, PwC, BDO and Evolution Securities.

Claydon also currently serves as a non-executive director of Distil, the AIM-listed spirits group.

His predecessor, Jo Stent, stepped down from the board following an earlier transition announcement in November 2025, but will remain with the group for a short period to support the handover.

Chief executive Neil Crabb said Claydon's expertise in equity fundraising, IPOs and M&A would play a vital role as Frontier IP focuses on developing its portfolio companies towards exit.
