Strong operating backdrop
The update comes as Alkane continues to build momentum across operations and cash generation. In the March quarter, the company delivered record production and lifted its cash balance to $374 million, supported by strong gold prices and steady output across its projects.
Those assets — Tomingley in New South Wales, Costerfield in Victoria and the Björkdal mine in Sweden — continue to underpin earnings, while ongoing near-mine exploration is extending resource life and supporting longer-term production visibility.
Alkane has also lifted its market profile in recent months, securing entry into the S&P/ASX 200 index as its scale and investor following continue to grow.
Growth pipeline in focus
Elsewhere, Alkane has continued to progress its growth pipeline, including the Boda-Kaiser porphyry project in NSW, where a scoping study has outlined a pathway towards development.
It has also advanced its earn-in agreement at the Nagambie gold project in Victoria, broadening its presence in established mining regions.
The Q3 results are expected to provide further detail on production, costs and capital allocation, as well as updates across exploration and development activities
