Trillion Energy International Inc. (CSE:TCF, OTCQB:TRLEF, FRA:Z620) has fulfilled a US$250,000 cash commitment toward its earn-in obligations for a 29% participating interest in the M47c,d oil block, an onshore exploration asset in southeastern Türkiye, the company said.
Shares of Trillion added 9% on the update.
The payment will be applied against work program commitments, according to Trillion.
The M47c,d block covers approximately 450 square kilometres within the Cudi-Gabar petroleum province, one of Türkiye's most active onshore oil regions.
It sits around 11 kilometres southeast of the Şehit Aybüke Yalçın field, Türkiye's largest onshore light oil discovery, which holds oil in the same Beloka and Mardin Group carbonate reservoirs targeted by Trillion on M47.
The region hosts approximately 100 analogue wells operating within a 10 to 12 kilometre radius, targeting the same Mardin and Beloka reservoir intervals Trillion plans to explore and evaluate.
An independent third-party resource evaluation completed in April identified contingent and prospective oil resources on the block, providing a technical foundation for the upcoming work program, the company said.
Separately, Trillion said it will present at the Emerging Growth Conference, a live online forum connecting public companies with investors, advisors and analysts, on May 6 at 1:45 ET. The presentation will be available via live webcast.
