Lightning Minerals CEO Troy Brice talks about a strategic reset and his goals and ambitions

Lightning Minerals Ltd CEO Troy Brice talked with Proactive about the company’s strategic reset toward gold and copper, with the Mt Turner Project in northern Queensland now positioned as its flagship asset.

Brice said the company has reviewed its portfolio across Australia, Canada and Brazil and decided that the greatest short- to medium-term value creation potential sits in gold and copper. The company is now divesting its lithium assets and focusing capital on core projects, particularly Mt Turner in the Georgetown region of Queensland.

The discussion also covered Lightning’s Lachlan Fold Belt assets in New South Wales, where the company plans further geological and exploration work, as well as its Mailman Hill project in Western Australia near Leonora.

Brice said the company is “mission focused” on developing Mt Turner and believes the project offers strong potential for shareholder value creation.
