Resolution Minerals Ltd (ASX:RML, OTCQB:RLMLF) has secured two diamond core drill rigs for a major Phase 2 drilling program at the Golden Gate area of its Horse Heaven Antimony-Tungsten-Gold-Silver Project in Idaho, US.
The program, backed by a recent $20 million advance, will start next week and comprise up to 13,700 metres, or 45,000 feet, of diamond core drilling across as many as 45 holes targeting both tungsten and gold mineralisation.
The work will focus on Golden Gate North and Golden Gate South, where Resolution is aiming to define the scale and extent of gold mineralisation along strike and at depth.

The company is working from a Phase 1 drilling base of 3,780 metres across 14 holes completed in 2025, which intersected gold mineralisation in all holes from surface.
Key previous intersections included 253 metres at 1.50 grams per tone (g/t) gold, 197.5 metres at 1.26 g/t, 265.2 metres at 0.60 g/t and 240.8 metres at 0.64 g/t gold.
At Golden Gate North, drilling will include infill and step-out holes to expand known mineralisation and test system extensions. At Golden Gate South, the program will follow up a new discovery hole that returned 99.1 metres at 0.38 g/t gold from surface to end of hole.
“Resolution is now underway on an exciting and extensive 2026 drill program at Golden Gate for gold and tungsten. Camp and drill crew setup is ongoing as we mobilise drill rigs onto site with water and fuel support together with our experienced technical team,” CEO of US Operations Craig Lindsay said.
Tungsten also in focus
Resolution will also test tungsten targets around the historic Golden Gate Tungsten Mine, where mining last occurred in 1980.
The company will target possible extensions near historical workings and around 2025 drill hole HH-GG25-012R, which intersected 21 metres at 0.06% tungsten, including 8 metres at 0.14% tungsten.
A broader tungsten-gold soil anomaly of about 500 metres by 600 metres at Golden Gate South will also be drilled.
Resolution has reopened access to the site and re-established support infrastructure, including camp facilities, water supply, water filtration equipment and technical support.
The first MP1500 diamond core rig is expected to arrive in coming days, with a second rig due by mid-May.

What comes next
The drilling is intended to support Resolution’s push toward a maiden mineral resource estimate for Golden Gate, targeted for Q1 2027, subject to successful results.
