S-Ventures PLC (AQSE:SVEN) has invested £200,000 in Hybrid Drones Ltd, securing a 2.67% equity stake in the UK drone technology company at what it described as a “significant inflection point” for the business.
Hybrid Drones’ flagship Hydra platform has recently achieved Specific Operations Risk Assessment approval in the UK, a regulatory milestone that clears a key hurdle for commercial drone operations.
The company secured Operational Authorisation from the UK Civil Aviation Authority following an in-house submission process, after an extensive development programme that began in autumn 2025.
S-Ventures said the approval validates the robustness of Hybrid Drones’ technology and the strength of its internal engineering and regulatory expertise, positioning the business to accelerate commercial deployment across multiple high-value sectors.
