Eco Buildings Group PLC (AIM:ECOB, FRA:9ZL0), the UK-listed industrialised housing technology company, has completed the ground floor and sub-ground parking level of the first apartment block at the Rolling Hills residential development in Tirana, Albania.
The project is being delivered for the Balfin Group, one of the region's leading property developers, whose portfolio spans landmark residential and mixed-use schemes across the Balkans.
Each apartment block at the site is expected to generate approximately €2.2 million in revenue for Eco Buildings, with profit margins in line with those previously reported by the company, subject to programme delivery and normal commercial conditions.
The first block contains 18 apartments averaging 100 square metres each and forms part of a larger multi-building programme, with the apartment blocks expected to act as a precursor to a villa development on the same site.
Eco Buildings said it has sufficient GFRG (glass fibre reinforced gypsum) panel inventory already manufactured to complete the first block, a prefabricated building material that allows for faster on-site assembly than traditional construction methods.
The company described the Rolling Hills project as an important flagship reference site for future opportunities in Albania and wider target markets, consistent with its strategy to build a repeatable, scalable housing platform across multiple geographies.
Executive Vice Chairman Dr Etrur Albani said the milestone demonstrated that the company's technology could compete in premium residential markets while maintaining the speed and consistency central to its proposition.
