Genflow widens confidentiality agreements with animal health companies over dog gene therapy data

Genflow Biosciences Ltd (LSE:GENF, OTCQB:GENFF, FRA:WQ5), the gene therapy developer, has signed additional confidentiality agreements with Tier-1 global animal health companies as interest grows in its canine ageing programme.

The agreements follow positive preliminary interim results from the company's dog study, announced in February, and build on an initial round of confidentiality agreements already in place.

The discussions centre on data from Genflow's canine SIRT6 gene therapy programme, which targets a gene associated with longevity and age-related disease in dogs.

Genflow cautioned that the interactions remain exploratory in nature, with no formal transaction or partnership announced.

Chief executive Dr Eric Leire said the positive preliminary findings were now being evaluated by a broader group of counterparties, with the company focused on advancing the programme and generating further data to support future development.

"We are encouraged by continued and new discussions with leading participants in the animal health sector," he told investors.

Year-to-date, the shares are up 28% and have advanced almost 140% the last 12 months.
