Diales shares climb on confident trading update

Diales PLC (AIM:DIAL) shares moved up 15%, to 27p, after the consultancy firm told investors that first-half operating profit is set to jump 43%, and posted higher revenue and a stronger cash position, giving it confidence that full-year results will come in at least in line with market expectations.

For the six months to 31 March 2026, the AIM-listed group expects revenue from continuing operations of £23.7 million, up from £21.6 million a year earlier. Underlying operating profit from continuing operations is expected to land at around £1.0 million, compared with £0.7 million in H1 FY25.

Cash also moved higher during the period, with Diales ending March with £3.9 million, up from £3.0 million at the FY25 year-end and £2.4 million at the same point last year.

Chief executive Mark Wheeler said the group entered the second half with “increasing confidence” as its transformation strategy gathers pace, adding that demand for its specialist expertise remains robust despite geopolitical uncertainty.
