RISERS
Clontarf Energy (LON:CLON) up 21.3%. No news out but a high number of trades were made today with almost three times as many buyers than sellers.
EMED Mining (LON:EMED) up 16%. Shares have been on the up for the last two days after its sUBSidiary and owner of Proyecto Riotinto EMED Tartessus has been awarded the activity licence from the Minas de Riotinto Municipality.
Proteome (LON:PRM) up 11.9%. At its annual general meeting, the biotech company said it continues to see a big increase in demand for its biomarker services and that its “good pipeline” means it expects to see strong growth over the next two years.
FALLERS
Gable Holdings (LON:GAH) down 13%. Shares continue to fall after the company said it has signed a 50% quota share agreement with Swiss reinsurance company Swiss Re.
LGO Energy (LON:LGO) down 7.75%. Yesterday, the company released the latest test results at Goudron in Trinidad produced 240 barrels of oil per day.
Central Rand Gold (LON:CRND) down 7.3%. It said it was still in talks to sell its CRG Netherlands Antilles arm but said there was no certainty of a deal.

888 Holdings (LON:888) up 7.66%. It has clinched the much sought after deal with rival online gambling company Bwin.Party.
Aldermore Group (LON:ALD) up 6%. The challenger bank is higher on news that the Bank of England may raise interest rates by the end of the year.
B&M European Value Retail (LON:BME) up 3.3%. The company said sales rose in the first quarter and said it would “at least” meet market profit expectations.
FALLERS
Royal Mail (LON:RMG) down 3%. Ofcom said, in its ongoing review it would assess the company’s efficiency, look at its position in the parcels sector and consider its potential ability to set wholesale prices in a way that might damage competition.
Restaurant group (LON:RTN) down 2.55%. The Frankie & Benny’s and Chiquito owner was downgraded to a ‘hold’ from a ‘buy’ by broker Nomura.
Ocado (LON:OCDO) down 1.6%. UBS cut its rating on the online grocer to Neutral from Buy.

TomCo (LON:TOM) up 21.9%. The company said it has now received all necessary permits to take the Holliday Block shale oil project in Utah into production and development after being granted a ground water discharge permit and a construction permit.
Rurelec (LON:RUR) up 9.59%. It sold its Peruvian sUBSidiary Empresa de Generación Eléctrica Canchayllo for US$6.8mln.
Fulcrum Utility Services (LON:FCRM) up 6.94%. The company secured a £3.95mln project to install a pipeline to link Scotland’s main gas network to a number of Speyside distilleries.
FALLERS
New World Oil and Gas (LON:NEW) down 67%. The company resumed trading on the London Stock Exchange this morning having been suspended since May.
Atlas Development & Support (LON:ADSS) down 44.7%. The oilfield services specialist has lowered its sales expectations due to the weakness in crude prices.
Frontier Resources (LON:FRI) down 40.8%. The company today placed 58.5mln new ordinary shares at 0.35p per share to raise £205,000.
