Pantoro Gold Ltd managing director Paul Cmrlec talked with Proactive about recent developments at the company’s 100%-owned Norseman Gold Project in Western Australia, including strong drilling results at Scotia and a new funding and processing agreement with Mega Resources.
Cmrlec highlighted continued success at the Scotia deposit, where drilling has extended the central zone by at least 50 metres below the current mine plan. The zone remains open at depth, with “big, wide, high-grade hits”.
The company has also entered a partnership with Mega Resources to fund stage two mining at the Rama Open Pit. Under the agreement, Pantoro Gold will provide up to $20 million in funding, with repayment linked to gold production. The ore, expected to grade above 4.7g/t, will be processed at Pantoro’s plant, replacing lower-grade stockpile material and improving overall margins.
