Galliford Try Holdings PLC (LSE:GFRD, FRA:3WC) announced, in a statement after Tuesday's close, that it has secured a place on a new £750 million affordable homes framework with Sovereign Network Group, extending its exposure to housing delivery across southern England.
The construction group said its Building business was appointed to the mid and high-value bands in the London and East and South regions, and to the high-value band in the West region.
The framework is intended to help Sovereign, one of the UK’s leading developing registered providers, deliver its stated target of more than 2,000 homes a year.
Chief executive Bill Hocking said the award adds to recent momentum in the business, following Galliford Try’s appointments to the Hyde Group framework and its first standalone contract for Clarion Housing Group at the City Place scheme in Chester.
