Solvonis Therapeutics PLC (LSE:SVNS), a biopharmaceutical company developing treatments for central nervous system disorders, said has appointed US-based research and investor engagement firm Water Tower Research to support its profile-building efforts in the American market.
Water Tower will provide coverage initiation reports, update notes, management series reports, and other content distributed through research aggregators, social media, and direct channels.
Solvonis said the appointment reflects the growing importance of the US market to its pipeline, which includes SVN-002, a programme targeting moderate-to-severe alcohol use disorder.
It is also developing SVN-015, a stimulant addiction candidate accepted into the US National Institute on Drug Abuse's Addiction Treatment Discovery Program, and SVN-114, its lead post-traumatic stress disorder treatment.
The company cited what it described as a material valuation gap between itself and comparable US-listed CNS peers as a further reason to sharpen its American market presence and broaden institutional investor access.
CEO Anthony Tennyson said: "Solvonis believes this appointment is an important and practical step in strengthening its position in the United States.
"The US is highly relevant both to key programmes across the pipeline and to the company's longer-term capital-markets ambition.
"Water Tower Research brings an established platform to help Solvonis better understand that market, refine its profile, and broaden investor reach."
