Pantoro Gold Ltd (ASX:PNR, OTC:PNTOF, FRA:RKN) has reported further strong drilling results from the Scotia Underground Mine at its 100%-owned Norseman Gold Project in Western Australia. Underground and surface drilling at Scotia has returned multiple wide, high-grade gold hits, supporting potential resource growth below the current mine plan and opening up further development opportunities across the Norseman project.
Extensional drilling at Central Scotia is confirming wide, high-grade mineralisation below the current indicated resource, and grade control drilling is returning additional high-grade intersections within the existing mine plan.
The company has also approved extra levels outside the current mine plan, pointing to further mine life extension.

Scotia Underground Mine in long-section with recent drill results.
What the results mean
Central Scotia results confirm high-grade mineralisation extends at least 50 metres below the current resource, highlighting strong potential for resource growth at depth.
Consistent high-grade intersections across Scotia North and Taurus support the integrity of the current mine plan and enhance short-term production confidence.
Additional mineralisation at Scotia South demonstrates broader system growth and reinforces the scale potential of the Scotia mining centre.
Approval of new development levels outside the existing mine plan signals a clear pathway to extending mine life and expanding underground operations.
Scotia is expected to become the largest underground mining centre at Norseman, with a current resource of 1.90 million tonnes at 5.32 g/t gold for 329,000 ounces, underpinning Pantoro’s broader production growth strategy.
Next steps
Pantoro has a busy few months ahead, with investors to look forward to:
- Ongoing underground infill and extensional drilling to expand the Scotia resource base.
- Testing of depth and lateral extensions to convert drilling success into additional mineable areas.
- Integration of new mineralised zones into future mine planning and development schedules.
- Continued focus on scaling underground production at Norseman as new levels are brought online.
