G Mining Ventures sees production growth ahead as Brazil mine advances to higher grades

G Mining Ventures Corp (TSX:GMIN, OTCQX:GMINF, FRA:W97) said its Tocantinzinho gold mine in Brazil delivered steady first-quarter production, with output in line with expectations as the company positions for higher grades and stronger production later this year.

The company’s preliminary results showed that it produced 31,846 ounces of gold in the three months ended March 31 at its Tocantinzinho mine in Pará State, while gold sales totalled 33,776 ounces.

Average plant throughput came in at 11,811 tonnes per day, with gold recovery of 90.3%, reflecting stable processing performance.

The average grade processed was 1.03 grams per tonne, lower than previous quarters as the mine processed planned lower-grade material.

CEO Louis-Pierre Gignac said the quarter reflected ongoing mine sequencing, with a focus on waste stripping and pit advancement to unlock higher-grade zones.

“This work supports access to higher-grade Phase 2 mineralization and positions the operation for a meaningful increase in grade and production in the second half of 2026, in line with our guidance,” Gignac told investors.

Mining activity during the quarter was geared toward accelerating access to those higher-grade areas, pushing the strip ratio up to 4.4 times as total material moved reached 5.5 million tonnes.

Despite the lower grade profile, plant operations remained consistent, supported by stockpile blending and steady-state throughput. The company said quarterly production variability is expected to continue to reflect mine sequencing and grade profile.

Looking ahead, G Mining Ventures reiterated its 2026 production guidance of 160,000 to 190,000 ounces, with output weighted toward the second half of the year.

About 62% of annual production is expected in the latter half of 2026, as higher-grade Phase 2 mineralization is accessed in line with the mine plan, setting the stage for improved grades and stronger overall performance.
