Intel Corp (NASDAQ:INTC, XETRA:INL) shares fell about 4% to around $65 on Wednesday, as analysts at Wedbush cautioned that the chipmaker’s recent rally may be outpacing underlying fundamentals.

In a note, the analysts wrote that Intel’s stock has roughly doubled since its fourth quarter earnings report, driven by optimism around advanced packaging opportunities, potential foundry gains, and stronger CPU demand linked to artificial intelligence inference workloads.

Agnico Eagle Mines Ltd (TSX:AEM) has struck a series of deals worth about $3 billion to build a regional gold mining hub in northern Finland, sending shares of takeover targets sharply higher.

The Canadian miner said it will acquire Rupert Resources Ltd (TSE:RUP) in a share-based transaction valued at about C$2.9 billion, alongside a C$481 million cash purchase of Aurion Resources (TSX-V:AU) and a $325 million deal to buy B2Gold Corp. (TSX:BTO)’s 70% stake in Fingold Ventures.

USA Rare Earth (NASDAQ:USAR) shares jumped about 10% after the company announced a definitive agreement to acquire Brazilian rare earth producer Serra Verde Group in a transaction valued at approximately $2.8 billion.

Under the agreement, USA Rare Earth will pay $300 million in cash and issue 126.849 million newly issued shares to acquire 100% of Serra Verde. The deal values Serra Verde based on a share price of $19.95 as of April 17.

AST SpaceMobile Inc (NASDAQ:ASTS) shares fell sharply on Monday after a satellite launched aboard a rocket operated by Blue Origin failed to reach its intended orbit.

The stock dropped around 8% following confirmation that AST SpaceMobile’s BlueBird 7 satellite was placed into a lower-than-planned orbit during Sunday’s launch on Blue Origin’s third New Glenn rocket mission.

Marvell Technology Group Ltd. (NASDAQ:MRVL) shares pared gains after an earlier rally on Monday, as analysts pushed back on reports suggesting the company had secured major artificial intelligence chip design work with Alphabet’s Google.

The stock had initially risen about 3.3% in morning trading after reports that Marvell was in discussions with Google to develop custom silicon, including a memory processing unit and a TPU designed for AI inference workloads.

Shares of psychedelics-related stocks climbed in early trade on Monday after US president Donald Trump signed an executive order aimed at accelerating research into psychedelic-assisted therapies and expanding patient access for certain serious mental health conditions, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and treatment-resistant depression.

The executive order, signed by Trump on Saturday, directs the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Commissioner to prioritize review pathways for psychedelic drugs that have received Breakthrough Therapy designation for serious mental illnesses and meet criteria under a national voucher program designed to speed regulatory review.

Digi Power X Inc (NASDAQ:DGXX, FRA:1NQ0, NEO:DGX) announced that it has signed a 24-month GPU rental agreement valued at $19.6 million with SubQ AI, a company focused on next-generation AI technologies.

Under the terms of the agreement, Digi Power X will provide SubQ AI with dedicated access to a fleet of the latest-generation NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs. The systems will be delivered on a bare metal basis through NeoCloudz, the company’s GPU-as-a-Service platform, and hosted at Digi Power X’s AI data center.

Alien Metals shares rose 13% to 0.16p after its joint venture partner, West Coast Silver, requested a trading halt on the ASX ahead of an anticipated announcement of a JORC mineral resource estimate for the Elizabeth Hill silver project in Western Australia's Pilbara region.

West Coast is operating the programme at Elizabeth Hill, in which Alien holds a 30% interest.

BP PLC (LSE:BP.) and Shell PLC (LSE:SHEL, NYSE:SHEL) led a small band of FTSE 100 risers on Monday morning as oil prices rebounded sharply over renewed anxiety over the US-Iran ceasefire.

BP shares rose 3.2% and Shell's climbed 2.5% as Brent crude oil jumped 6% to $95.90 a barrel, recovering from levels below $87 at the end of last week.
