Feedback PLC (AIM:FDBK) shares fell 20% to 11.5p after the AIM-listed clinical infrastructure company disclosed that a central NHS decision on a potential widescale contract for its Bleepa medical messaging platform has been pushed back by at least six to nine months due to NHS internal factors.
The company had previously expected a decision around the end of the 2025/26 NHS financial year on 31 March 2026.
Feedback said discussions with central NHS stakeholders have continued to progress positively, and the board believes the opportunity could align with new frontline digitisation funding expected to become available in the 2026/27 NHS financial year.
In the interim, NHS England has extended Bleepa's existing licences at Queen Victoria Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in Sussex for a nine-month period ending December 2026, at an annualised contract value of £495,000.
The company has also agreed a further annual contract extension with the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust, where Bleepa is being demonstrated for internal pathways.
Feedback said it would not renew its photocapture contract with Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust, which expired at the end of March 2026, as part of a deliberate shift to focus resources on Bleepa pathway opportunities the board believes could deliver significantly larger revenues.
The company's cash runway extends to mid-2027 based on current plans.
Chief executive Dr Tom Oakley said the additional funding to extend Bleepa licences at Queen Victoria Hospital demonstrated an ongoing commitment to the company's solutions.
"Whilst we await the outcomes of central NHS decisions, we will focus on expanding the programme at QVH and other pathway opportunities, whilst selectively exploring alternative opportunities to create shareholder value," he said.
